Welcome to Little Words Preschool!
At Little Words Preschool, a minority-owned, women-owned, donation-based nonprofit organization, we understand the demands on today’s working families and the vital role consistent, high-quality academic support plays in a child’s success. Our mission-driven tutoring services are designed to fit busy schedules while providing personalized, developmentally appropriate instruction. Sessions are offered remotely via Zoom or in person at a Miami-Dade Public Library, delivering both convenience and a structured learning environment.
We cultivate a calm, inclusive, and supportive space where children are encouraged to build confidence, develop independence, and strengthen essential academic foundations. Our tutors use intentional, hands-on teaching strategies combined with carefully curated interactive learning tools to maintain engagement and reinforce key concepts. All instruction aligns with the Florida Standards of Learning for Early Learners, ensuring continuity with both classroom and homeschool curricula.

Little Words Preschool specializes in multilingual and ESL instruction. Our TOEFL/ESOL-certified volunteer tutors provide dedicated language support for non-English-speaking learners of all ages, helping them strengthen English proficiency and academic comprehension while honoring their native language and culture.
As a donation-based nonprofit rooted in the Little Haiti community of Miami, we are committed to educational equity and empowering families with access to high-quality tutoring services, regardless of income. We partner with families to support each child’s academic journey—allowing parents to focus on their workday with confidence, knowing their child’s learning needs are being met with care, expertise, and purpose.
Our tutors provide individualized, one-on-one academic support, including homework assistance, study skills development, and targeted reinforcement in early literacy and numeracy. Through structured guidance and adaptive learning technology, students develop focus, self-discipline, and the confidence necessary for long-term academic success.
